People think and believe that there is no Hell or that Hell is the grave or some other kind of nonsense like that.
In the New Testament, there are 27 Books, 264 Chapters and 242 !!! warnings about Hell. Most were preached by Jesus Christ Himself. Now stop and think about that for a minute.
That is almost one warning per chapter through the whole New Testament. You might want to take another minute and think about it again. It may be one of the best minutes in your life. It may be one of the worst.

Let us first get a few things straightened out here. God does NOT send anyone to Hell. Or Heaven for that matter. God is a Loving, Righteous and Sinless God and does NOT force anyone to worship Him. He simply asks in His perfect way.
Think about it. What good would it be if God forced us to worship Him? It would be totally worthless in every way. That is why God gives us a choice. His House or the devils. You will live for eternity in one or the other. It is YOUR choice. Not Gods. Not mine. Not anyone elses. YOURS and yours alone.

Consider this, if you ask for directions to travel somewhere that I know then I can give you directions. But I cannot make you follow those directions. Can I? Nope. I have no control over which road you take. I can only tell you what I know from an atlas or map and my experience.

I have an "atlas" and a "map" and some experience. I have God's perfect word. No greater "directions" exist. Though I clearly have not been to Hell I believe what God says about Hell. And He sure says a lot about it. Hell is a place I cannot nor ever will see or go to. I can't. Period.

Here is a story spoken by Jesus. It is NOT a parable as many wish to believe. This is a true story about certain people and events.

Lu 16:19 ¶ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

We learn a number of things from these verses. First; the rich man is STILL in hell. He didn't go anywhere. He never will except to the Throne of God for final Judgement and he will be cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity. NOT the rest of eternity, for ALL eternity. Eternity has NO end.

If however, you are saved according to the scriptures then someday you will meet Lazarus. Think about it. The Lake of Fire is a dark place. If you ever meet the rich man it will be on Judgement Day. Then you will NEVER see him again. Or anyone else in the Lake of Fire.

I made my choice when I realized I had a choice and I chose God. But I did it His way. Not mans way, not a religious way or the way of a church. Those do not count and won't work. The choice you make has to be Gods way because that is how He made things.

If you want into Gods House you have to follow His directions. Just as if I gave you directions to my house you would have to follow those directions to get here. And as I know which door is open and which is locked, if I tell that to enter my house you have to use a certain door then that is what you must do to enter. The windows are locked and you cannot break in. One door is open. Only one. Gods House is the same. You need directions from Him. Those directions are found in His word. Simple and clear.
